The XFLIKS Audience Laureate is built around a simple principle: every real person should have an equal and meaningful voice.

1. Verified people

   Ballots require an authenticated festival account so automated and duplicate voting can be rejected.

2. One active vote per category

   Each person may select one finalist in every eligible award category and change that selection until voting closes.

3. Private ballots

   Individual choices and personal information are never displayed publicly. Only audited aggregate results are announced.

4. Durable audit history

   Every created or changed ballot is recorded for integrity review while the public vote table keeps only the viewer’s current selection.

5. Results remain sealed

   Live totals are not shown during the voting window, reducing strategic voting and protecting the audience’s independent judgment.
