About XFLIKS
When and where is the 2026 festival?

XFLIKS runs November 5–14, 2026, with online screenings and festival activity in Toronto and Montréal, Canada.

How does audience voting work?

Authenticated viewers receive one active vote in each award category. A choice can be changed before voting closes on November 14.

What films are eligible?

The festival accepts narrative, documentary, animation, experimental work and music films in which AI meaningfully supports an artist-led process.

How are AI tools disclosed?

Selected creators describe their creative approach, source material and use of AI so audiences can understand how every work was made.
